To place an order via the API, you can either pay by commercial invoices by passing invoice details directly in the order, or you can provide a fundingSourceId after you have created a funding source.
Pay by commercial invoice by adding invoicing details directly in an order
This is the most common case. By adding invoicing details directly in an order, you'll be invoiced on a regular schedule for gifts sent. Please note that you will not receive invoices in the Sandbox environment. This payment method is enabled by default in the Sandbox environment.
Using funding sources
Funding sources is a great way to pay for orders if you are creating orders on behalf of another businesses instead of your own. Please contact us as [email protected] if this case is applicable for you.
